Background
I am originally from Central Pennsylvania and relocated to North Carolina after graduating college. I began my career in banking in 1999 and moved into the investments field a few years later. During that time, I earned my Series 7 and 63 licenses and now serve in a licensed support role for Carla Hooker.
Outside of work, I enjoy exploring online auctions for Fostoria glassware, pursuing various craft projects, keeping up with our four cats, and learning sign language for our grandchild.
Why Allegacy
When I transitioned into the financial industry, I was drawn to credit unions because of their member focused approach. I chose Allegacy because its values aligned closely with how I believe financial services should be delivered—through integrity, education, and genuine care for members’ ‑long-term‑ wellbeing. Over time, I’ve seen those principles live out in everyday interactions, not just in mission statements. The culture here encourages collaboration, supports professional growth, and consistently prioritizes doing what’s r‑ight for members, which is why I continue to be proud to work here.
What does client service mean to you?
Client service, to me, means taking the time to ensure members fully understand every document, transaction, or idea they are considering—no one should leave feeling unsure about their choices. I want people to feel confident, supported, and never rushed or intimidated. With a background in education, explaining complex topics comes naturally to me, and my personal experiences help guide the way I approach sensitive issues such as aging and end of‑ life financial planning. Building trust through clarity and compassion is at the heart of how I serve‑ members.
