Background
I grew up in Davie County, North Carolina, and graduated from Davie High School. I earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Animal Science from North Carolina State University and later completed a Master’s Degree in Organizational Management.
Early in my career, I worked as a Commodity Merchandiser, partnering with large livestock operations to manage feed ingredient contracts and logistics. That role required analytical thinking, negotiation, and strong relationship management. In 2006, I transitioned into the financial services profession. It was in this role that I discovered how meaningful it is to help individuals and families work toward their financial goals.
Why Financial Planning
After several years in the animal nutrition industry, I felt called to pursue a path where I could make a more direct and lasting impact in people’s lives. Financial planning provided that opportunity. I am motivated by the ability to help individuals think strategically about their future, make informed decisions, and move toward meaningful goals. Supporting others as they pursue financial security and long-term success continues to be deeply fulfilling.
