Greensboro, NC, October 23, 2024—Allegacy Federal Credit Union, in partnership with the University of North Carolina, Greensboro’s Computer Science Department, is hosting its free technology support drop-in event, “Community Tech Night,” on Thursday, October 24 from 6:00- 8:00 pm (1451 S Elm-Eugene St. Greensboro, NC). During the event, there will also be four prize drawings for new Chromebook laptops.
All personal technology devices that need support are welcome (e.g., laptops, mobile phones, tablets, and printers). The event is available to all community members, regardless of whether they’re an Allegacy member or not.
“Fixing and maintaining technology devices can be frustrating and very expensive, especially for the nonprofit and faith-based communities who often do not have the funds to purchase new devices,” said Allegacy’s Technology Experience Analyst Jonathan Allen. “That’s why we offer our “Community Tech Night” to give everyone, regardless of their income level, a chance to receive free support on of their personal devices.”
