Donna Hennessey

I grew up in the country outside Boston as an only child who couldn't wait to see the world. From working three jobs for a decade to becoming the first in my family to graduate from Northeastern University, I’ve always been driven to dream big. I have been fortunate my first real job in Sales & Marketing provided me great opportunities to work in France, England, Italy and around the United States. 

After 25+ years at Allegacy, my work is rooted in resilience and heart. Personal losses and the joy of foster care adoption inspired me to shift my career toward deep member relationships and financial planning. I am a fierce advocate for our members and a proud supporter of local organizations like Cancer Services, Inc. and Summerlark -Atrium’s Cancer Patient Support Program. My 'best me' is found helping others reach their goals, then relaxing at home baking sourdough bread-with a good book, my garden, and planning our next family adventure.

I chose Private Banking because it combines my two greatest passions: helping people and connecting them. Our team functions as a dedicated 'branch of one,' providing concierge-level service wherever and whenever our members need us. By collaborating with internal and external partners, I ensure our members have every tool to be their best. Outside the office, I am proud to invest in our local growth through the Mocksville Rotary and the Lewisville-Clemmons & Davie Chambers.

When life brought me to the Carolinas, I found my second family at Reynolds Carolina Federal Credit Union, now Allegacy. This team has nurtured my soul, teaching me that true growth comes from the compassion and potential we see in every member and community we serve.
