WINSTON-SALEM, N.C., September 11, 2024—WinstonNet, a local nonprofit promoting digital equity, is partnering with Allegacy Federal Credit Union to host their quarterly Community Tech Night that offers free technical support to attendees on September 12.
The event is open to all community members who are experiencing technological challenges, including setting up a new phone, virus mitigation, troubleshooting a laptop issue, or addressing software updates.
“Like our technology partner WinstonNet, Allegacy strongly believes in technology equity for everyone in our community,” said Technology Experience Analyst, Jonathan Allen. “Fixing and maintaining technology devices can be frustrating and expensive. That’s why we offer our quarterly Community Tech Night to give everyone a chance to receive free support on any personal device.”
There will also be multiple drawings for a new Chromebook laptop at the event.
